Watermelon Lavender Juice

Ingredients:​​​ ​​ ​​
  • 5 ½ cups pack Watermelon pulp
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 tablespoon organic dried culinary lavender flowers
  • 1/3 cup rosé wine (or if you don want alcohol, use 2 tablespoons of lemon juice)
  • lavender sprig to garnish, optional
1 – In a small saucepan over medium heat, add ½ cup watermelon, ½ cup water and lavender buds bring to simmer, cover and low temperature to med-low and cook for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let sit with the cover for 10 minutes.
2- Place strainer over a bowl and pour lavender syrup through, straining out lavender.
3 – Combine 5 cups of watermelon, the watermelon lavender syrup, rosé wine (or lime) in a blender and puree until smooth, immediately pour into 4 tall glasses, or if you going to serve later just pour the juice into a pitcher and right before you serve stir the juice. Garnish with lavender sprig
